Ages: 13+, All Abilities are Welcome. No experience is necessary.
When: Wednesdays from 5:30 – 7:00 for 16 weeks
Class Starts: January 30, 2025
Classes will Meet: 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15
Cost: $500.00 + $48.00 registration fee.
The $48 annual registration fee is due for enrollment in the class. The remaining balance can either be paid in full ($500) or monthly ($125 per month). You can pay this online or in-person at the studio.
Final Presentation: Showcase May 17th & 18th, 2025
Scholarship Application can be submitted once registration fee is paid.

Class Synopsis:
Embark on a cinematic adventure like no other! Dive deep into the art of crafting short films with our industry-leading course. From brainstorming and scripting to production and post production. You'll explore every theory of filmmaking under the guidance of a seasoned professional. Learn the intricacies of location scouting, casting, and prop selection as you bring your vision to life. You will gain knowledge in scripting, shooting, editing, and sound design, Immerse yourself in a dynamic learning environment where collaboration and creativity thrive, all while working at your own pace and budget. Join us and unlock the secrets of filmmaking storytelling through the lens of a Hollywood Director. All students will receive a free submission entry into DigiFest® 2025 !
Class Goals:
Understand the fundamentals of storytelling through filmmaking. Gaining knowledge in camera operation, lighting, and sound recording.
Develop skills in scriptwriting, creating a shot list , pre-production planning production and post production..
Collaborate with peers to create a short film from concept to completion
